The Lonely CityA rail runs through my city. No one gets on, no one gets off. The train doesn't even stop here anymore. No roads lead here, and nothing interesting ever happens.   
Once upon a time, a long time ago now, people came to this town on the rail. But that type of train doesn't run through our part of the country nowadays. People aren't interested in a place that no roads lead to anymore, and even if they were... there's no way to get here. My city isn't even shown on a map.   
A long, long time ago, the trains would take the food we grew here, and sell it to the bigger cities to give them something to eat. Now, most people get The Lonely City

Mad DelusionsWhere does reality end? Where does fantasy begin?  At what point does honest observation devolve into mad delusion?   
I have often asked myself these questions. I’ve looked as hard as I can into my soul, stared into the abyss for so long that my other half waves back at me. I’ve looked so deeply into my own reflection that I’m not even sure which side of the mirror I’m on anymore...

The Cult"Elli, They're out there again."   
Elli looked up from her mixing bowl and out the window. Sure enough, They had returned. Dressed in black robes, marching around the bakery, and chanting horribly, fifty or more of Them.   
They wanted their annual offering.   
"Do what you can to stall them please, Jeff." Elli said, returning to her work. She had a lot to do if she wanted to appease them, and she was not going to dissapoint.   
The Bakery Master, heading outside, worried. He and Elli had managed to appease Them last year, but last year there had only been half this many of Them chanting outside, and E The Cult

Ju-Fate is one of the various fanartists out there who I often peruse for ideas... but that's hardly an insult to her skills! Her specialty (I think) is in setting a scene, making you fill in the blanks on your own. For this very reason, I may or may not have stolen an idea from her at one point and made a passable short story out of it.

Above are some decent examples of her abilities, as well as a sample of her coloring with someone else's lineart. Make of it what you will.
